This is a great two stage knife sharpener. The stages are coarse and fine. One or both stages can be used as needed. The sharpener is perfect for knifes of any size and any thickness. It does not take that much space and it sharpens the knifes very well. I tried it with my big meat cutting knife and I am really happy with the result. The knife now is as sharp as I bought it first. I used both stages for sharpening the knife, first the coarse and then the fine stage. It was easy to use the sharpener and I like that the handle and the base are made of non-slip grip for easier and safer use. I am very please with the product and would recommend it to any friend.
