These 8 German style Jumbo steak knives come in a hard shell grey box that can be used to store these knives safely in the case. The quality of these knives is good but I expected a better quality. When I opened the case, I could tell that the quality is above average but not excellent. These knives are good for everyday use. The blade is made of stainless steel that looks durable. It is sharp enough to cut steak very well. The handle is thick and it is comfortable to hold it. The color of the handles is not deep black and they don’t have a glossy look. It is hard to say whether the handle is made of plastic or wood. You can use these knives to cut vegetables or fruits as well. In addition, it is easy to wash and clean them. I just wash them manually but I think it is OK to use dishwasher to wash them too.
